Manchester City still keeping tabs on Messi, Two possible ways – Neymar can return to the Nou Camp

Neymar-Barcelona reunion - Would PSG allow Neymar go

Man City tracking Lionel Messi

Manchester City appears not to have dropped the interest in Barcelona ace Lionel Messi as they are pushing to recruit him this summer.

The Argentine’s future is up in the air as his contract expires at the end of this season. City, despite the dire need to find a replacement for outgoing Sergio Aguero, are said to be happy to offer a two-year contract for Messi at Etihad and a possible transfer to MLS club New York City for his final years.

However, reports are stating that Messi looks to be leaning towards staying put at Barca due to the appointment of new president Joan Laporta. Furthermore, Ronald Koeman has revived the Catalan club since the turn of the year and they are currently second in the La Liga race, one point behind Atletico Madrid.

Two ways for Neymar to make his return

PSG ace Neymar has been linked with a return to Barca despite the speculations that he would be signing a new long-term deal sooner at Parc Des Princes.

Amid the current financial crisis, it would be hard for the Catalans to resign the Brazilian star and here are the two alternatives and possibly the best ways.

The 29-year-old can wait until next year to see out his current deal or he has to be part of some swap deals involving Antoine Griezmann and Ousmane Dembele, who both could interest Les Parisiens.
