Manchester City are looking to raise over £70million from player sales this summer to fund moves for Harry Kane and Jack Grealish.

The Premier League champions are in the market for attacking reinforcements this summer and have identified Tottenham‘s Harry Kane and Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish as primary targets for their squad rebuild for the coming season.

But the club wants to sell some fringe players and academy prospects in order to increase Pep Guardiola’s transfer funds ahead of spending over £150million to secure their targets.

According to Daily Mail Sport, City have identified several youngsters, most of whom have never made a first-team appearance for the club for sale this summer.

A lot of these players are attracting interest from across Europe and are good enough to command substantial fees to boost the club’s transfer kitty.

Leeds United loanee Jack Harrison is one of the first names on the list and will leave permanently after three years on loan at Elland Road. Leeds United are reportedly triggering an obligation to purchase Harrison for a deal worth £13m, including bonuses after the winger’s progress under Marcelo Bielsa.

Another name tipped for a high-value move is Pedro Porro, who earned a Spain debut in March. The full-back starred during a season on loan at Sporting and is expected to command a transfer fee of around £15m with the Portuguese champions keen on his services.

Midfielder Yangel Herrera is also expected to leave and has been valued at around £20m after an encouraging season in La Liga.

Germany’s Under-21 European Championship hero Lukas Nmecha is also expected to move on this summer despite making three substitute appearances for the club. The City academy graduate is rated at close to £15m and is attracting interest from a host of clubs after a successful loan spell at Anderlecht where he finished as top scorer.

Serbia international Ivan Ilic and Morgan Rodgers are both expected to bring in a combined £25m after impressive loan spells at Verona and Lincoln City, respectively.

Other first-team stars Ilkay Gundogan, Riyad Mahrez, Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus all have two years left in their contracts and are attracting interest from a host of clubs around Europe.

Meanwhile, Bernardo Silva and Ayermic Laporte are also said to be available for the right price this summer as City look to rebuild a squad that has dominated English football for years.
