Raiola makes Haaland transfer admission

Erling Haaland’s stock continues to rise every day, and Europe’s elites are keeping tabs on him ahead of a potential summer move.

Although Dortmund wants their best player to stay for another season, Haaland could demand a transfer if the Germans miss out on Champions League qualification.

Amid the speculations, Haaland’s agent has claimed that Real Madrid – one of the potential suitors and ahead of everyone – can afford the young striker’s transfer.

“Real Madrid is interested and can afford Haaland. They have money to sign him. Although other clubs are also interested in the Norwegian striker.”

Haaland’s transfer rumours got fuelled after his father and agent Raiola visited the Spanish capital a few weeks earlier.

However, Madrid’s president Florentino Perez recently stated that no clubs in Europe can afford the signing of the Norwegian striker.

Zidane’s contract extension

Perez is set to offer a contract extension for manager Zinedine Zidane amidst Juventus links.

The French manager’s current deal expires in the summer of 2022, and Juve were said to have identified him as the replacement for Andrea Pirlo.

Now, Los Blancos President is set to reward Zidane with a two-year deal, which will tie him to the club until 2024.

The French manager has turned the injury-ridden Madrid side into a strong unit in Europe, as they are one step away from reaching the Champions League finals.

Perez believes Zidane’s presence would be pivotal in bringing stars like Kylian Mbappe to the Spanish capital club.
