Atletico Madrid

La Liga defending champions Atletico will look to keep their top-four hopes alive with a win against Levante this Wednesday.

Diego Simeon’s side have not been in their best shape this season and come into this tie sitting just outside of the top four. Their latest win over Getafe did enough to take them level on points with fourth-placed Barcelona

But given their inconsistencies, it would not be difficult to bet against them getting all three points in this game.

However, at home, the host have a decent record. They have won their last three home games and have won seven out of the ten home games they have played this season.

A win in this game will see them go above Barca into fourth position, meaning that Simeone will be desperate for a win.

Possible Atletico starting line-up

Jan Oblak; Sime Vrsaljko, Stefan Savic, Gimenez, Mario Hermoso; Rodrigo De Paul, Koke, Thomas Lemar; Yannick Carrasco, Luis Suarez, Angel Correa.

Injured: Antoine Griezmann, Jose Gimenez, Daniel Wass

Doubtful: None

Suspended: None

Levante

La Liga bottom team Levante continued their terrible run of form with another disappointing loss to Real Betis on Sunday.

The visitors were beaten 4-2 by Betis, keeping them firmly rooted in the bottom of the table, six points behind every other team.

They have conceded 50 league goals this season and are currently the worst side in Europe top five leagues.

Although they have changed managers this season, their fate have remained the same. With just eleven points to their name, it is impossible to envision anything short of a drop to the lower division for Alessio Lisci’s side.

They will be looking to at least get a result here and will be encouraged by their recent record against Atletico, which has seen them go three games unbeaten against the hosts (W1, D2).

Possible Levante starting line-up

Dani Cardenas; Pier Rober, Oscar Duarte, Martin Caceres; Jorge Miramon, Mickael Malsa, Gonzalo Melero, Son; Luis Morales, Dani Gomez, Jorge de Frutos.

Injured: Jose Campana, Shkodran Mustafi, Sergio Postigo

Doubtful: None

Suspended: None
