Barcelona submit an offer to Azpilicueta

Barcelona have been heavily linked with a move for the Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta in recent months.

The Spanish international will be a free agent in the summer and the Spanish giants have already submitted an interesting offer to the defender as per Fichajes.

The 32-year-old has the option of signing for Barcelona for two seasons and there will be the opportunity to extend the contract for another year as well.

Azpilicueta has been an exceptional servant for Chelsea since joining the club and he could prove to be a quality short term addition for Barcelona.
