Everton open to selling Moise Kean this summer amid interest from Juventus and PSG

Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti has opened the door for Moise Kean to move away from Goodison Park at the end of this season.

The Italian striker is currently on loan at Paris-Saint Germain, and he has been outstanding for the French outfit. He has 16 goals to his name for the French side so far. It will be interesting to see if the Italian decides to return to England at the end of this season.

Kean was signed from Juventus for a fee of around £30 million back in 2019, but he has struggled to make his mark in English football. It was somewhat unfortunate for Kean to be sold after Sarri’s arrival when he scored 6 goals in 13 appearances in Serie A for Juventus under Massimiliano Allegri during the previous season.

He has been linked with the permanent moves to Paris Saint Germain and Juventus in recent months, and it will be interesting to see if his suitors are willing to pay the asking price for the forward.

According to reports, Everton will want to recoup the money they paid for the young forward. Carlo Ancelotti revealed that the club is open to selling the striker this summer, but if a buyer is not found, Kean will be an important player for Everton next season.

“I don’t have to convince him to stay,” said Ancelotti

“He is on loan, and he has to come back. If PSG want him, they have to open discussions. We are open, but if nothing happens, he will be an important player next season.”

PSG could definitely use a quality number nine, and Moise Kean would be a superb long term investment for them.

The striker is only 21, and he’s likely to improve with experience and coaching. Mauricio Pochettino has done well to develop young players throughout his managerial career, and he could have a similar impact on Kean’s game.

The Italian is unlikely to start regularly ahead of Dominic Calvert-Lewin at Everton, and therefore a move away from the Premier League club would be ideal for him.

The Italian striker is way too talented to be a backup option at Goodison Park, and he should look to join a club that is prepared to offer him regular first-team football.
