Luis Suarez to Atletico imminent

Atletico Madrid are set to announce the signing of Barcelona striker Luis Suarez after agreeing over a free transfer. The Uruguayan has been previously linked with a move to Juventus but the deal couldn’t see it’s light. Meanwhile, the Serie A champions are set to sign Atletico striker Alvaro Morata. Suarez will be the third departure following Ivan Rakitic and Arturo Vidal

Riqui Puig to stay at Barca

Riqui Puig has decided to stay put at Barca despite Ronald Koeman’s advise to find a new club. The Dutchman has told the young midfielder that he is not in his plans for this season. Puig was a relevation in La Liga last season.

Carles Alena and Pedri shown exit doors

Koeman has also made clear that both Carles Alena and Pedri are not in his plans, leaving their future up in the air. Alena has returned to Barca from Real Betis while Pedri moved to the Nou Camp as a new signing.

Sergino Dest – the chosen replacement for Nelson Semedo.

Nelson Semedo is on his way to join Premier League outfit Wolves and Barcelona has sorted out a replacement for the Portguese full-back. Ajax youngster Sergino Dest turns out to be the priority for the Blaugrana.

Barca are facing competition from Champions League winners Bayern Munich for the transfer of Dest. 

Barca are also keeping in mind the options of Emerson and Max Aarons. Norwich City were said to have rejected multiple offers from Barcelona for the transfer of Aarons.
