Madrid have comfortably beaten Eibar away after goals from Benzema, Kroos and Vazquez.

Real Madrid have continued their impressive run in La Liga as the 3-1 victory over Eibar marked their fourth straight victory in a row.

Karim Benzema, who scored a brace last week, put the visitors ahead very soon as the game commenced with a calm strike after being picked out by youngster Rodrygo through a brilliant ball. Luka Modric soon followed with a great strike to double the lead for Madrid inside the opening quarter of the game.

Eibar pulled one back and it was even a special effort from striker Kike from outside the box.

Benzema nearly had his second of the night before his goal was turned down by VAR due to offside.

The second half saw players like Rodrygo had their chances saved but the defending champions managed to score their third goal of the night with the help of Lucas Vazquez in injury time.

The win has taken Madrid to the second position in the table, now leading Real Sociedad by three points.

Benzema produced another sumptuous performance – scoring and assisting as well  – following the two-goal display against Athletic club in the midweek clash.

Zinedine Zidane would be relieved to see his side performing well of late and now the French manager’s eyes would be on the La Liga title for the second consecutive time while breaking the hoodoo in the Champions League.
