Juventus and Barcelona planning another swap deal

Federico Bernardeschi-Juventus

Both the clubs are reportedly plotting another swap deal following Arthur-Pjanic deal in the summer

Barcelona and Juventus reportedly could make another swap deal as they did with Miralem Pjanic and Arthur.

According to reports, Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele could be swapped for Federico Bernardeschi who is down the pecking order of Andrea Pirlo.

Dembele is subject of interest to the Bianconeri and the French winger is also said to be considering Juventus as his next destination.

It has been reported that Juve had plans of selling Douglas Costa to Barca in exchange for Dembele, but the move never materialised. Instead, Costa ended up joining Bayern Munich on loan.

Dembele had been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United on the deadline day before he opted to stay at the Nou Camp.

Although there were fears over his lack of game time under Ronald Koeman, the French striker has been enjoying some good first-team football of late, even scoring in the Champions League games against Ferencvaros and Juventus.

The 23-year-old, who has a long history of injuries, looks to be in perfect shape at the moment and letting him go will be absurd.

Arthur and Pjanic swap deals raised everyone’s highbrows in the summer and Barca shouldn’t repeat the same mistake.

Especially, knowing that they would receive the services of Bernardeschi in return, Barca should not even pay attention to the deal. The Italian is currently unfavoured by the Bianconeri, with players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Paulo Dybala, Dejan Kulusevski, Alvaro Morata, Aaron Ramsey up in the pecking order of Pirlo.

It does not stop until Arthur - Pjanic only. Now Juventus and Barcelona are reportedly ready to carry out a similar process. This time it is Bernardeschi & Alex Sandro's turn to go to Barcelona. Dembele and Junior Firpo are going to Juventus.
Even Dybala and Griezmann are said to be following suit.
