Barcelona striker Luis Suarez has been linked with a move away from the club this summer and it will be interesting to see where he ends up.
Apparently the Uruguayan international recently had an Italian language test that could help him secure a work permit in Italy this summer.
The player has been linked with Inter Milan and Juventus recently and therefore the examination makes sense.
Suarez is past his peak and he’s on the decline. It makes sense for Barcelona to try and offload him before the transfer window closes.
Despite the drop in quality, the Uruguayan striker could still be a very useful option for most clubs around Europe and it will be interesting to see if he moves to Italy this summer.
The slow pace of the Italian League could suit him at this stage of his career.
The player has been linked with a move to Atletico Madrid as well but it would be surprising to see him join Barcelona’s rivals.
The former Liverpool striker has been linked with Tottenham as well but the London club are unlikely to be able to afford his wages now that they have agreed to sign Gareth Bale on loan.
Suarez has already proven his quality in Spain and England and he might be tempted to prove himself in Italy now. A move to Juventus or Inter Milan should prove to be the ideal next step in his career.
