The Portuguese international has been in breathtaking form for Eintracht Frankfurt, and his performances have caught the attention of Real Madrid.
The Spanish outfit are looking to bring in another quality striker to support Benzema, and they’re willing to offer the German side some cash and Luca Jovic in exchange for Silva.
Real Madrid signed Jovic from Frankfurt back in 2019, but the Serbian failed to make his mark at Santiago Bernabeu to do the lack of regular game time.
It will be interesting to see if Silva is willing to take up a similar role at the Spanish club next season. He will probably be used as a backup to Benzema as well.
The Portuguese attacker needs to play regularly at this stage of his career, and a move to Real Madrid might not be ideal for him.
Andre Silva has 26 goals and 9 assists to his name in 31 matches, and he has been linked with the likes of Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United as well.
Silva has played in Spain before with Sevilla, and it remains to be seen whether he’s willing to return this summer.
As for Jovic, a permanent exit from Santiago Bernabeu would be ideal for his career, and the Spanish outfit are thought to be keen on offering him plus 20 million Euros for the Portuguese striker.
Jovic is currently on loan at Frankfurt, and he will probably be content with continuing at the German club beyond this summer.
