Paris Saint-Germain signed Sergio Ramos on a free transfer earlier this summer, and the defender is looking to make his mark in Ligue 1 next season.

The experienced defender has revealed that he wants to play with the best players in the world, and Kylian Mbappe is certainly one of them.

However, Ramos also maintains that all the best players in the world must play for Real Madrid and Mbappe is certainly one of those players.

“I want Mbappe in my team. Everyone is free to make their own decision. We are a big club with a magnificent project. All great players must go through Real Madrid at some point in their career, but right now, I want him at my side. I personally want to play with the best in the world, and Mbappe is among the best. I also have a great desire to play with Neymar, whom I have played against many times when he played for Barcelona,” Sergio Ramos explained.

The French international has been linked with a move away from PSG for months now, and Real Madrid have been mentioned as a potential destination.

It will be interesting to see if the Spanish club decides to make a move for the 22-year-old World Cup winner this summer.

Mbappe has a contract with PSG until the summer of 2022, and the French outfit cannot afford to lose him on a free transfer next year. If the player refuses to sign a new deal this summer, PSG could be forced to cash in on him.

PSG will be desperate to win the Champions League next year, and that is why they have been so active in the transfer market this summer. Losing Mbappe would be a devastating blow, and they will want to hold on to him for as long as possible.
