Paris Saint-Germain forward star believes they have lost the magic of being intimidating under former manager Mauricio Pochettino

In previous reports, Pochettino has reportedly been fired as Paris Saint-Germain manager. The players got him sacked. The results have not been good enough as players and not performing well enough are the reasons why to dismiss a football manager. Speaking to Daily Mail, PSG are yet to make an official announcement about the dismissal of Mauricio Pochettino.

For Kylian Mbappe, the former manager’s tactics will not suit the team anymore. Pochettino helped the club to win the Ligue 1 title by 15 points. However, he failed to lead them in the Champions League in March against eventual champions Real Madrid.

He said: ‘This past season we weren’t as fearsome, we were far less untouchable. We want to go back to being intimidating in France, something we have not done these past two years.’

He added: ‘Of course, the Champions League is the goal. This is the clear and announced objective. We don’t need to list many more adjectives regarding the Champions League. That’s what we want.’

Mbappe signed a new three-year contract extension with PSG. Including the power of having a say in which players or managers should stay or go. The said contract also made him the highest-paid player in the world.
