Fulham 0-3 Arsenal Rampant Gunners continue to impress under Arteta

Arsenal picked up a 3-0 win over Fulham in their Premier League season opener earlier today.

Alexandre Lacazette scored the opening goal of the game on the 8th minute and Arsenal looked in complete control throughout.

New signing Gabriel scored the second goal of the game four minutes into the second half and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang wrapped up the three points for the Gunners with his 57th-minute goal.

Arsenal finished last season strongly under Arteta and they will be delighted to have got off to an impressive start this season. The Gunners will be desperate to get back into the top four this season and it will be interesting to see if they can build on this start and put together a winning run now.

Meanwhile, Fulham will be thoroughly disappointed with how they have started the season and the Londoners will have to bounce back quickly.

Scott Parker decided to start with his best player Aleksandr Mitrovic on the bench and it will be interesting to see how the Fulham fans react to this baffling decision.

The Serbian striker is undoubtedly the best player at the club and he made a considerable impact after coming on in the second half for Fulham.

Had Mitrovic started the game the Londoners would have probably performed a lot better.

The last time Fulham secured promotion back to the Premier League they were relegated immediately and the Londoners will be hoping to avoid a similar fate this season.

They will have to perform a lot better in order to stay in the top flight.
