PSG

With the international break behind us, all eyes will be at the Parc des Princes where Paris Saint-Germain will welcome Nantes in one of the biggest Ligue 1 fixtures this weekend.

The French giants are sitting top of the league standings after 13 games, ten points ahead of Lens who occupy second place.

Mauricio Pochettino‘s side avoided a late scare against a fearless Bordeaux side, eventually winning 3-2 away from home in their last game.

They will hope they can take up another three points in this game and extend their lead at the top of the table.

The Parisians have won 11 of their opening 13 league games in 2021/22 and are also heading into this fixture with 14 wins from their last 15 competitive home H2Hs.

They will fancy their chances of extending that record further on Saturday but will be playing without a few key players.

Neymar, Sergio Ramos and Rafinha are injury doubts for this tie while Julian Draxler, Kimpembe and Verratti are also sidelined with injuries.

Possible PSG starting line-ups

Gianluigi Donnarumma; Abdou Diallo, Thilo Kehrer, Marquinhos, Achraf Hakimi; Idrissa Gueye, Ander Herrera, Georginio Wijnaldum; Angel Di Maria, Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe.

Injured: Presnel Kimpembe, Neymar, Marco Verratti.

Doubtful: Rafinha, Abdou Diallo

Suspended: None

Nantes

Nantes have begun their 2021/22 league season in a patchy form, winning five and losing five of these opening games to stay in 10th place on the table.

But the eight-time Ligue 1 champions are currently within four points of a European qualification place ahead of this matchday, provoking dreams of a first European campaign since 2004/05.

They will hope to hope to continue on their recent form, which has seen them win four times across the last eight Ligue 1 rounds (D2, L2).

PSG are not an easy opponent to face though, while the visitors poor clean sheet record makes it difficult to dream of a win here.

However, But ‘Les Canaris’ have only lost four of their previous 14 Ligue 1 road trips (W6, D4), and will take courage in that record going I to this game.

Meanwhile, Osman Bukari is the only injury absentee for the visitors.

Possible Nantes starting line-ups

Alban Lafont (GK); Charles Traore, Andrei Girotto, Nicolas Pallois, Dennis Appiah; Moses Simon, Pedro Chirivella, Wylan Cyprien, Roli Perreira de Sa; Samuel Moutoussamy; Randal Kolo Muani

Injured: None.

Doubtful: None

Suspended: Nicolas Pallois.
