The French international has been heavily linked with a move away from Paris Saint Germain this summer and the 22-year-old is expected to join Real Madrid before Tuesday’s transfer deadline.

Lionel Messi has finally arrived

The former Barcelona superstar joined Paris Saint Germain on a free transfer earlier this summer and the Argentine international made his much-awaited PSG debut earlier tonight.

The 34-year-old came on around the 66th minute and although he did not make any notable contributions tonight, it is the start of a new journey and Messi will be expected to take the French league by storm in the coming months.

Stand out performance from Achraf Hakimi

The Moroccan defender joined PSG from Inter Milan earlier on in the summer and he produced an outstanding display for his new club tonight.

Hakimi was switched on defensively and he made a vital contribution in the final third as well.

The defender did well to set up Kylian Mbappe’s second goal of the game.
