Manchester United are closing in on the signing of Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho.
According to reports, the move has edged closer after the Red Devils agreed an initial fee of around £60m.
However, the whole package will rise to over £100m and the structure of the deal is yet to be decided.
Sancho has been linked with a return to England for a while now and the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United have been touted as potential destinations.
It seems that the Red Devils are now leading the chase for the England international.
It will be interesting to see if they can wrap up the transfer in the coming weeks now.
Sancho is already a world class player who would improve United a lot. He would add goals, assists and flair to the side.
Solskjaer needs to improve his side in order to challenge for the title next season and Sancho would be a massive statement of intent from the Old Trafford outfit.
The former City winger has 20 goals and 18 assists to his name this season.
Dortmund are thought to be willing to sell the player if their demands are met but they have set a deadline of 10th August and United will have to find an acceptable structure by then.
Sancho is likely to be open to the move as well. He has already proven himself in Germany and he will want to test himself at a higher level in the Premier League now.
