Man United star could look to leave the club for free

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is keen on moving to Barcelona at the end of this season.

The Frenchman is in the final year of his contract but the Red Devils have the option to extend his deal for another year.

Apparently the 27 year old is looking to join the Spanish club on a free transfer.

Pogba has been linked with a move to Real Madrid and Juventus as well and it will be interesting to see where he ends up.

He’s a world-class player and he could be the ideal replacement for the ageing Luka Modric.

The French international has not been at his best ever since his return to Old Trafford and It will be interesting to see if Manchester United can get the best out of him this season.

Losing Pogba will be a blow for the Premier League club but letting him leave on a free transfer would be a catastrophic decision.

It will be interesting to see how the situation unfolds in the coming weeks but Manchester United must do everything in their power to hold on to the Frenchman beyond this summer.

They paid a club record fee for the midfielder and they must look to recoup most of that if they are to sell him in the near future.

If Pogba doesn’t want to stay, it will be tough for them to hold on to an unhappy player but the deal must make sense financially.
