Chelsea

After holding on to grab a point in their last game against Liverpool, Chelsea will hope to continue their impressive start to the season when they welcome Chelsea to Stamford Bridge this weekend.

The Blues have been marked as one of the title favourites this season due to their transfer activity.

Thomas Tuchel’s side can match Man chest United’s record of 600 wins if they take all three points here. A win will also see them record seven wins in eight home PL games.

They will also see this as an opportunity to avenge Aston Villa for their loss in the last game of last season.

Possible Chelsea starting line-ups

Edouard Mendy; Andreas Christensen, Antonio Rudiger, Cesar Azpilicueta; Jorginho, N’Golo Kante, Marcos Alonso, Reece James; Mason Mount, Kai Havertz, Romelu Lukaku.

Aston Villa

Despite losing Jack Grealish to Manchester City in a mage transfer this past summer, Aston Villa have regrouped and are looking to march towards the top six positions of the table.

Dean Smith’s side head into this tie with two wins from three games (D1) and have failed to score only once in their last ten games.

Meanwhile, the addition of Danny Ings from Southampton has further solidified their threat in front of the goal and makes them difficult to write off.

They will take courage from their last meeting with Chelsea. However, they have not won back-to-back games against Chelsea since 1993 and might be unable to match their much better hosts.

Possible Aston Villa line-ups

Emiliano Martinez; Ashley Young, Ezri Konsa, Tyrone Mings, Matthew Cash; Jacob Ramsey, Marvelous Nakamba, John McGinn, Emiliano Buendia; Anwar El-Ghazi, Danny Ings.
