Michael Thomas believes Salah should be considered as one of the greatest players in the Premier League.

Former Liverpool midfielder Michael Thomas has ranked Mohamed Salah in his list of Premier League’s all time greats.

Thomas feels that the Egyptian forward should be considered in the same breath as English top-flight legends like Thierry Henry and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Thomas said: “Thierry Henry is without doubt at the top of the list! His impact on Arsenal, and on the Premier League as a whole, is unrivalled.  “Ronaldo is probably in the top three ever but not purely for his Premier League greatness. If he does lead United to the title this season then I may have to re-evaluate.”

“In terms of his goal involvement and pushing the club to a first league title in many years, he [Salah] must be in the top 10 players to ever play in the Premier League!”

Salah’s impact on Jurgen Klopp’s side has been massive since his transfer from AS Roma in 2017.

The Egyptian international was pivotal behind the Reds winning the Champions League in the 2018/19 season and the Premier League title in the following season.

Forming one of the greatest alliances with Sadio Mane and Robert Firmino in the attack, Salah continues to be one of the best players in the English top flight in recent years.

Furthermore, he has made a terrific start to this season by racking up 4 goals and 2 assists in the Premier League, thus helping the Reds maintain an unbeaten run.
