Marcel Sabitzer-RB Leipzig

Ugurcan Cakir bid in the pipeline

Liverpool are interested in signing the Trabzonspor goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir.

The Turkish goalkeeper has impressed the Reds with his performances recently and Liverpool are looking at him as a potential replacement for Adrian.

The Spaniard has disappointed as a backup for Alisson over the past year and the Reds must look to bring in a quality replacement.

Carkir is certainly a better goalkeeper compared to Adrian and he would be an upgrade on the former West Ham player.

Apparently, Liverpool are looking to submit a bid off around £14.5 million for the goalkeeper and it will be interesting to see if they can send off competition from the likes of Sevilla and RB Leipzig to sign the player.

Ibrahima Konate deal close

Meanwhile, Liverpool are closing in on the signing of Ibrahima Konate from RB Leipzig.

The Frenchman is regarded as one of the most talented young defenders in world football and he should prove to be a quality addition to Jurgen Klopp’s defence.

The Reds have had a defensive crisis this season with the likes of Joel Matip, Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk ruled out for of the season.

Bringing in quality players like Konate should be top priority for the Premier League side and the defender is likely to cost around €40 million.

Sabitzer interest

Liverpool have been linked with another RB Leipzig player Marcel Sabitzer.

The 27-year-old Austrian midfielder is expected to leave the German club this summer and the likes of Manchester United and Tottenham are interested in him as well.

Liverpool are expected to lose Gini Wijnaldum on a free transfer this summer and Sabitzer could be a superb replacement for the Dutchman.

The RB Leipzig midfielder will add goals and creativity to the Liverpool midfield and it remains to be seen whether the Reds can secure his services in the coming months.
