Klopp’s agent spills beans on future
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has been constantly linked with an exit in recent times following the Reds’ barren run in the Premier League, which luckily ended after last night’s win against Wolves.
Furthermore, Joachim Low’s decision to step down as Germany manager added fuel to speculations that Klopp could be considered for the national team job.
However, the former Dortmund gaffer dismissed his exit links from Anfield and insisted that he would be looking to grace his contract. Now, his agent Mark Kosicke has also come up with a similar answer.
Kosicke said, “He’s not finished with his work in Liverpool.
“There is no back door open because Jurgen still has a three-year contract with the Reds.
“He made this very clear so that there would be no room for speculation.”
Carragher wants Haaland over Mbappe
Jamie Carragher has said that he would like to see Erling Haaland play for the Reds over PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe.
The Reds are expected to scour the transfer market for a centre-forward, with both Mbappe and Haaland being linked with the club.
Both youngsters have been dominating the Champions League and their respective domestic leagues and are cited as the successors to the icons of the past decade Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Reds legend Carragher would rather like to see Haaland at Anfield than Mbappe.
Carragher said, “I mean I’ve watched the clips today and I’ve always gone with Mbappe before, but there’s something about Haaland.
“He looks mad, but in a good way. You know when you just think, he doesn’t care about anything.
“His celebration in the Champions League with the goalkeeper, I loved it.”
