Manchester United considering double swoop for Haaland and Sancho

Dortmund 5-0 Berlin - BVB thrashed Berlin, Haaland and Sancho score

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer still wants to sign the Borussia Dortmund duo.

Manchester United are still considering a move for their missed-out targets and Borussia Dortmund stars Erling Haaland and Jadon Sancho.

According to reports, the duo remains a priority for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who had been left frustrated over the Red Devil’s failure in previous attempts to sign them.

Haaland looked as if he was destined to join United in January – given the Norwegian ties with Solskjaer – however, Man Utd messed up the transfer and allowed the 20-year-old to join Dortmund.

Since moving to the Bundesliga, Haaland has established himself as one of the coveted young strikers in Europe, with his current release clause turning out to be 75m pounds.

As far as Sancho is concerned, United failed to meet Dortmund’s valuation of 108m pounds, which eventually saw them withdraw their pursuit in the end.

Although Sancho turns out to be a priority for the Red Devils, they could face competition after Europe’s top clubs are recovering from their financial crisis. Liverpool are reportedly looking at the possibility of signing the English winger next summer.

The in-form Haaland is also subject of interest to La Liga giants Real Madrid, who are said to be preparing for a big summer transfer spree next summer.

United also had their offers for Ousmane Dembele and Ismaila Sarr rebuffed on the deadline day as the duo were cited as the alternatives to Sancho.

Nonetheless, the Red Devils managed to sign exciting prospect Amad Traore from Atalanta on the deadline day of the transfer window.
