Terry to battle Wayne Rooney for manager job at Derby

John Terry could rival Wayne Rooney for the managerial job at Derby County, with Philip Cocu getting sacked recently.

Although Rooney has assumed the role of the caretaker manager for the Rams, he is said to be not considered on the long run by the reported future owner Sheikh Khaled. In such a case, it is also added that Rooney’s former England team-mate John Terry could be a candidate for the managerial role.

Chelsea to sell players for the signing of Declan Rice

West Ham midfielder Declan Rice continues to be a top target for Chelsea, who opted not to meet the Hammers’ 80m pounds price tag in the summer transfer window.

However, the Blues are looking to truncate the bloated squad in January to generate funds for the transfer of Rice.

Inter join Barcelona in the race for Wijnaldum

Inter Milan have joined Barcelona in the pursuit of Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum. Wijnaldum is still a top target for Barca manager Ronald Koeman however Inter have made contact with the midfielder’s representatives over his availability in January.

The Dutchman’s contract expires next summer but the Reds are interested in a contract extension.

Pogba backed to return to Juventus

Juventus legend Claudio Marchisio has requested Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba to return to Turin.

The French midfielder is currently experiencing some difficult times at Old Trafford while Marchisio has claimed that the World Cup winner could find his form with Bianconeri.
