Solskjaer caught in the goalkeeper dilemma

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is still undecided on who to start between David de Gea and Dean Henderson for the Europa League finals against Villarreal.

Despite the transfer speculations, De Gea featured in the semi-finals second leg against AS Roma and showed his worth.

The Spaniard lost his place midway through the season to Henderson, who, in return, lived up to the expectations and made the goalkeeper position his own.

When asked about whether De Gea would retain his place for the finals, Solskjaer replied: I’ve got to make difficult decisions before the final – but I feel I’ve got to make very difficult decisions every time I pick a team.

“We’re Man United, and we should have competition for every single spot in the team.

“I’ve said it so many times that I’m the luckiest manager in the world with the two keepers I’ve got.”

Midfield target Declan Rice drops transfer hint

West Ham midfielder Declan Rice has stated his desire to play in the Champions League, thus giving a huge boost to Man Utd, who are understood to be one of his potential suitors.

The English midfielder has been highly influential behind Hammers’ surge this season, but a place in the top-four is still uncertain for them.

“To have that Champions League music playing, that’s where I want to be

It’s special; I can’t really describe it, to be honest. As a kid, it’s your dream, first of all, to play in the Premier League, but to be competing for the Champions League [as well].

Lucrative New offer for Cavani

United are reportedly set to offer a new lucrative deal worth £250000-a weekend to persuade Edinson Cavani to stay at the club for one more season.

The Uruguayan’s current deal expires this summer, but Solskjaer wants him to stay due to his excellent run of form.
