Tottenham Hotspur are looking to bring Mauricio Pochettino back to the club this summer.

The London side sacked Jose Mourinho earlier in the season after a series of poor performances, and former midfielder Ryan Mason is currently in charge of the club as an interim manager.

According to reports, Mauricio Pochettino is unhappy with his situation at Paris Saint-Germain, and he has not enjoyed a good working relationship with the club chief Leonardo.

It is believed that he’s open to returning to the London club this summer, and it will be interesting to see if Daniel Levy can pull off his return in the coming weeks.

There is one year left on the Argentine manager’s contract with the French outfit, and PSG are not keen on losing their head coach just yet.

The Premier League side have already opened talks with Pochettino regarding a shock return after he was sacked only 18 months ago.

The Argentine has failed to guide Paris Saint Germain to a French league title this season, and he will be bitterly disappointed with the way his side have ended the campaign.

Tottenham are in desperate need of a quality manager, and Pochettino’s arrival could be ideal for them right now.

The Argentine knows the London club will, and he will be able to get the players and the fans on his side immediately.

Furthermore, players like Dele Alli and Harry Kane have been linked with moves away from Tottenham and Pochettino’s arrival could convince them to stay beyond this summer.

The former Spurs boss was crucial to the development of both players, and he might be able to get players like Alli and Winks firing once again.
