Tottenham keen on Pochettino, PSG manager open to a return

Mauricio Pochettino-Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham are thought to be keen on the Paris Saint Germain manager Mauricio Pochettino.

The Argentine manager has failed to win the League title with the French outfit this season, and he is unhappy with his situation at the club.

Apparently, the Premier League side could look to bring him back to the club, and he could take over from Ryan Mason as the club’s next manager.

Pochettino did an excellent job at Tottenham and took the London side to the UEFA Champions League final. He could prove to be a smart addition this summer.

Tottenham need someone who can steady the ship and get the players believing once again. The Argentine manager knows the Tottenham squad very well, and he could get the best out of the players.

The likes of Harry Winks and Dele Alli have been frozen out of the first team by Jose Mourinho and Ryan Mason, but Pochettino’s arrival could give them the belief to work hard and regain their place in the side.

Tottenham have been linked with a host of managerial names, but they have not managed to finalise an agreement with anyone yet.

It will be interesting to see if they can chalk out an agreement to bring Pochettino back from France in the coming weeks. He has a contract with Paris Saint Germain, and the French outfit might not be keen on losing him after just one season.

Apparently, the 49-year-old wants another shot at Spurs, and he might feel that he has unfinished business at the London club. It will be interesting to see how the situation unfolds over the next few weeks.
