The German managers are set for a touchline battle when Liverpool host Chelsea this Sunday.
Liverpool and Chelsea are set for a major face-off in the Premier League this weekend and the contest is also important for both parties in a tense top-four battle.
Another interesting battle to watch out for is between two of the German masterminds Thomas Tuchel and Jurgen Klopp.
Two of the modern-day greats are from Germany and had previously managed Borussia Dortmund in their career.
Sunday’s clash will be the first time the managers will go head to head since the Liverpool versus PSG game in 2018, with Tuchel managing the latter during that time.
Ahead of Sunday’s game, Chelsea boss Tuchel has come up with a quirky reply on what separates him from Klopp.
“Hopefully, you have got me wrong! You cannot compete at being funny with Jurgen in public and having good answers to not so good questions. He is the master.
“He can turn any question around with a big laugh. He is like this in private and public.
“I don’t know where my image comes from if you say that I have a grumpy one.
Tuchel also insisted that both the clubs would give their best on Sunday in a taut race for the top four notwithstanding Liverpool’s recent struggles.
Tuchel has been off to a great start to his Blues career, not losing a single game in nine appearances thus far. This includes the win against Spanish leaders Atletico Madrid in the Champions League round of 16 first leg.
