German champions Bayern Munich are thought to be closing in on a deal to sign the Liverpool forward Sadio Mane.
The 30 year old Senegalese international is looking for a new challenge and he is expected to leave the Reds in the summer.
According to a report from Matteo Moretto, the German club are now close to agreeing on a deal for the world-class winger.
Bayern Munich have been in contact with the Liverpool player’s camp for a while now and the player is expected to sign a three-year contract with them.
Apparently, the German outfit will pay a fee of around £34 million for the Liverpool superstar.
Sadio Mane is in the final year of his contract with the Reds and Liverpool will have to cash in on him this summer if he refuses to sign a new contract with them.
The Reds cannot afford to lose a player of his quality on a free transfer next year and therefore his suitors are in a strong position to negotiate a transfer.
The former Southampton winger has been an exceptional servant for Liverpool and he has helped them win multiple trophies during his time at Anfield.
He has already proven himself in the Premier League with Southampton and Liverpool and it is hardly surprising that he’s willing to take up a new challenge in the Bundesliga now.
Bayern Munich are set to lose Robert Lewandowski to Barcelona this summer and the Senegalese international will be expected to replace his contributions at the Allianz Arena.
