Inter Milan picked up an impressive 3-1 win over Torino in the Serie A last night.

Antonio Conte’s men did well to bounce back after going behind in the game. They are now close to securing their place in the Champions League for the next season.

The title race is beyond them this season and they will be hoping to secure European qualification at all costs.

Inter Milan conceded the first goal when the ever-reliable Samir Handanovic dropped a corner. Torino captain Andrea Belotti converted from close range. Ansaldi had a great chance to double Torino’s lead but Handanovic managed to keep Inter Milan’s deficit from increasing.

Ashley Young scored the equalizer for his side on the 49th minute and he was involved in the creation of the second goal as well. His chipped pass allowed Sanchez to find Godin, who nodded in from close range.

Lautaro Martinez wrapped up the scoring for Inter Milan after lashing on to Alexis Sanchez’s pass. His shot took a deflection on its way in but the Argentine won’t mind. Sanchez snatched the ball at centreline, run through 20 metres and put a though pass for Lautaro Martinez.

Sanchez provided two assists and acted as prime mover for Inter attack. Not only he played in attacking role, he was equally worked hard to help defensive organisation.

Inter Milan are now second in the table with 68 points from 32 games. Juventus are eight points clear at the top.

Meanwhile, the defeat leaves Torino in 16th place with just 34 points. They will be hoping to bounce back strongly and beat the drop this season.
