Willian linked with MLS move

Brazilian midfielder Willian has been linked with a move away from Arsenal at the end of this season.

The former Chelsea midfielder has had a disappointing first season at the London club and he’s looking to link up with Inter Miami next season.

The 32-year-old has just one goal and seven assists for Arsenal in all competitions this season and he has failed to justify his massive £220,000 per week wages so far.

It would be beneficial for the Gunners to sanction his departure and invest in a quality young player. Willian isn’t getting any better at this stage of his career and he will only continue to decline.

Sander Berge bid submitted

Meanwhile, the Gunners have been linked with a move for the Sheffield United midfielder Sander Berge.

The 23-year-old has been exceptional for the Blades in the Premier League but Sheffield United will be playing in the Championship next season and the Norwegian is too good to play in the second tier of English football.

According to reports, Arsenal have now submitted a £17.2 million bid for the 23-year-old midfielder but Sheffield United are currently holding out for a fee of around £25 million.

The Blades will also demand a sell-on fee and it will be interesting to see if the two clubs can sort out an agreement in the coming weeks.

The Gunners could revive their interest in the Barcelona keeper Neto this summer.

They will need to bring in a quality backup option to Bernd Leno after the departure of Emiliano Martinez and Neto could be a decent addition for them.

The Brazilian is set to play his final game for the Spanish club this weekend and Arsenal would snap him up for a reasonable price this summer.

The 31-year-old goalkeeper would be a massive upgrade the current backup keeper Alex Runarsson.
