The win leaves Real Madrid two points clear at the top of the table with six games left. Los Blancos will now fancy their chances of winning La Liga.
When the season started, few would have expected Real Madrid to lead the title charge but Zidane has once again proved his pedigree as a manager by turning around his team’s form.
It will be interesting to see if Real Madrid can extend the lead at the top in the coming games. They cannot afford to slip up at this stage of the season.
Barcelona are breathing down their necks and they will be ready to capitalize as soon as Real Madrid slip up.
Real Madrid have not won the La Liga since 2016/17 and they will be desperate to go all the way this time. Zidane has won the league with Real Madrid before as their manager and he will be keen to repeat that feat once again.
Meanwhile, Barcelona take on Atletico Madrid in their next game and they will have to win in order to stay within touching distance of Los Blancos.
