Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil recently held a question and answer session on Twitter and some of his answers have shocked the Gunners on social media.
The midfielder picked a Welsh international Aaron Ramsey in his top Arsenal side during his era at the club.
The pick is hardly surprising because the two players enjoyed telepathic understanding on the pitch and they were outstanding for Arsenal during their time together at the club.
However his decision to pick David Ospina as the best goalkeeper during his time at the club has left the supporters baffled.
The Colombian goalkeeper produced quite a few error prone displays during his time at the club and clearly the likes of Bernd Leno and Petr Cech were better players.
The German international also opted for Sead Kolasinac as the best left back during his time at the club. The former Schalke man was quite underwhelming during his time at the club and his selection is quite surprising.
Ozil has been banished from the first team setup by Mikel Arteta this season and he has not played for the Gunners since March 2020. It will be interesting to see if Ozil can secure a move away from the London club this month and ressurect his career elsewhere.
He has been heavily linked with a move to Fenerbahce in the recent weeks.
The midfielder will be a free agent at the end of this season and Arsenal will be keen on getting rid of him as soon as possible so that they can recoup some money now and get his wages off their books.
