The attacking duo scored a brace each in Milan’s emphatic win over Crotone.

AC Milan continued their rampage in Serie A after hammering Crotone 4-0.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic opened the account for Rossoneri at the half-hour mark, combining excellently with fellow forward Rafael Leao.

The Swede later found his second of the night in the 64th minute, which also marked Milan’s double, netting a simple finish from Theo Hernandez’s cross.

Ante Rebic scored back to back goals in no time to make it 4-0 for Milan, with Hakan Calhanoglu providing the assists for both the strikes.

Milan are now back in the top of the Serie A table following an emphatic performance against the bottom-placed Crotone.

Ibrahimovic is currently the second-joint top scorer this season with 14 goals alongside Romelu Lukaku and only two goals shy of leader Cristiano Ronaldo.

Stefano Pioli’s men are now looking the possible favourites to lift the Scudetto after a decade though they are only two points clear of second-placed Inter.

Pioli also offered his assessment on the thumping win and how the title race could look for the rest of the season.

“The team did well to believe in a certain type of football, because it was by no means an easy game, and we deserved the victory.”

“Our motivation must be to win every game. We are aware of our capabilities and what we can give, so we are satisfied when we do get the victory, but it’s too early to look at the table. We have to take it one game at a time and know there’s going to be tougher times ahead with the Europa League and matches every three days.”
