Leicester 0-0 Wolves: Both teams share the spoils in a goalless draw

Jamie Vardy-Leicester City

Leicester City were held to a goalless draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League earlier today.

The foxes had a glorious opportunity to go level on points with Manchester United in second place and Brendan Rodgers will be disappointed to have come away with just a point here.

Wolves have been very inconsistent this season and Leicester were firm favourites to pick up all three points at home.

The away side started the  game brightly with the likes of Ruben neves and Adama Traore coming close to giving  them the lead.

Leicester had their fair share of opportunities but the likes of James Madison and Jamie vardy failed to convert from their chances.

Vardy in particular had a great opportunity to win the game late on but He headed wide in stoppage time.

Wolves were impressive at the back and Luna will be  delighted with his team’s defensive organisation.

The likes of Jonny produced a couple of spectacular blocks to deny the home side.

Leicester City are now third in the Premier League table with 43 points and it will be interesting to see if they can secure a top four finish and qualify for the Champions League next season.

Wolverhampton Wanderers are 14th in the Premier League table with 27 points and they will have to improve offensively if they want to secure a top half finish this season.
