Inter registered a fighting 4-3 win against Fiorentina at San Siro, to secure full three points much like other contenders of the Scudetto.
All the major teams in Serie A had winning start in Serie A 2020-21 campaign, and Inter was trailing behind 2-3 till the 87th minute of the match.
The substitute for Inter had a huge impact as Achraf Hakimi and Alexis Sanchez provided the assists which Romelu Lukaku and Danilo D’Ambrosio converted to provide Nerazzurri a winning start.
Inter started with two new players at left side, Aleksandar Kolarov in defense, and Ivan Perisic at the front. This was the reason Ashley Young had to be moved to right wing. Two of the much talked hiring from transfer market for Nerazzurri in the current window, Achraf Hakimi and Arturo Vidal , started on the bench.
Fiorentina had an early strike when Christian Kouamé put provided them 1-0 lead at 3rd minute. Lautaro Martinez scored a goal and forced an own goal both sides of the break to tilt the balance in favour of Inter.
But it was Franck Ribéry, the ex Bayern Munich and Champions League winner, help Fiorentina to take 3-2 lead, when he provided two superb through passes for Gaetano Castrovilli and Federico Ceccherini.
Two back to back goal forced Antonio Conte to immediately introduced Hakimi and Sensei into the game. Radja Nainggolan, Arturo Vidal and Alexis Sánchez were introduced ten minutes later, in place of Nicolò Barella, Marcelo Brozović and Ivan Perisic respectively.
