Florentina striker Dusan Vlahovic has been heavily linked with a move away from the Italian club for months now, and it appears that the transfer saga is nearing its conclusion.

According to a report from Goal.com, the Serbian international is set to join Juventus after the two clubs agreed on a fee in the region of €75 million.

Vlahovic is regarded as one of the finest young attacking talents in European football right now, and he has the potential to justify the massive outlay in the long run.

There is no doubt that Juventus needed to improve their squad this month, and the Serbian should prove to be an excellent acquisition. He has already established himself as one of the best strikers in the Italian Serie A, and he should be able to make an immediate impact with the Turin giants.

The 21-year-old striker has scored 17 goals in the league so far this season, and he is likely to improve further with experience and coaching. Juventus needed to bring in a quality poacher to complement the likes of Paulo Dybala in the attack, and Vlahovic seems like an ideal addition in theory. It will be interesting to see if the Serbian can live up to the expectations and score consistently for the Italian giants now.

Juventus have not been at their best in the last couple of seasons have a need to bring in reinforcements to establish themselves as the top dogs of Italian football once again. The signing of Vlahovic will undoubtedly lift the spirits around the club and appease the fan base.
