Juventus

Andrea Pirlo’s foray into management has not gone as planned, with Juventus languishing in fifth place and a high chance of missing out on the top four with two games left to play.

The Old Lady are just one point behind Napoli in fourth place but have an inferior goal difference and a tougher run-in than their rivals from Naples.

They play Inter Milan, knowing that only a win can give them any chance of qualifying for the CL next season.

Despite their recent home woes, the home team possess the bragging rights in this derby as they on a seven-game unbeaten run against their rivals at home in Serie A. In that period, they won five and drew two times.

They will be hoping that Saturday is one of the better days when they pick up all the points against Inter Milan.

Pirlo has no injury worries at this time.

Possible line-ups

Wojciech Szczesny; Alex Sandro, Leonardo Bonucci, Matthijs De Ligt, Juan Cuadrado; Federico Chiesa, Rodrigo Bentancur, Adrien Rabiot, Weston McKennie; Paulo Dybala, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Inter Milan

Antonio Conte travels to his former stomping ground with his chest high, having dethroned the team he once led to several Serie A titles.

The former Juventus coach has achieved what many talented coaches couldn’t achieve at the San Siro in leading Inter to their first league title since 2010.

He will travel to Turin hoping to add further woes to the hosts’ troubles and perhaps deny him entrance into next season’s champions league.

His team are unbeaten in twelve away matches in all competitions (W6, D6), heading into the tie.

Having stopped The Old Lady’s nine-year Scudetto dominance, the visitors are hunting a league double over their rivals for the first time since 2003/04.

They will have to do so without the services of Arturo Vidal, who continues to nurse a knee injury while his Chilean teammate Alexis Sanchez is likely to sit out this tie due to an ankle sprain suffered within the week.

Possible line-ups

Samir Handanovic; Alessandro Bastoni, Stefan De Vrij, Milan Skriniar; Ashley Young, Christian Eriksen, Nicolo Barella, Marcelo Brozovic, Achraf Hakimi; Lautaro Martinez, Romelu Lukaku.
