The Italian League has started in scintillating fashion this season with plenty of teams showcasing high quality attacking football.

Here at Anytime football, we look at the potential top seven for this season and where they could finish in the table.

Napoli

After seven rounds, Napoli find themselves at the top of the table with seven wins from seven matches and they will be hoping to launch a proper challenge for the Scudetto this season.

The likes of Inter Milan and Juventus have not been at their best this season and Napoli will look to take full advantage of that.

Napoli have been exceptional at the back so far and their defensive form could guide them to the title this season.

Final position: 1st (Champions League qualification)

Inter Milan

Defending champions Inter Milan are currently third in the table with 17 points from 7 outings and they are yet to be beaten in the league.

Inter have lost key players and manager Antonio Conte in the summer and they are likely to end up as the runners up in the title race.

Final position: 2nd (Champions League qualification)

AC Milan

Meanwhile, AC Milan are currently second in the table just two points adrift of the league leaders and Stefano Pioli’s men have been outstanding so far.

A revival for the Rossoneri is definitely on the cards this season and it remains to be seen whether they can build on this start.  Milan have been impressive going forward but their defensive vulnerabilities could damage their chances of winning the title.

Final position: 3rd (Champions League qualification)

Juventus

Inter Milan managed to end Juventus’ stranglehold on the Italian league last season and the Turin giants have started the season in disappointing form this year as well.

Juventus are currently 7th in the league table but they have managed to pick up some form in recent weeks.

Max Allegri’s side have the quality to climb up the table quickly and they should be able to finish in the top 4.

Final position: 4th (Champions League qualification)

Roma

The capital club have started the season in impressive form under Jose Mourinho but they have shown inconsistencies in recent matches.

The Italian outfit are likely to improve on last season but Roma are expected to miss out on Champions League qualification narrowly.

Final position: 5th (Europa League qualification)

Fiorentina

The Italian outfit are currently fifth in the league table with 12 points from seven matches.

Star striker Dusan Vlahovic is in red hot form and the Serbian international could help Fiorentina secure European football for the next season.

Final position: 6th (Conference League qualification)

Lazio

Lazio currently find themselves 6th in the league table and they have done reasonably well under new manager Maurizio sarri.

However, the likes of Roma and Fiorentina are better than them and they are likely to miss out on European football next year.

Final position: 7th
