Spurs are looking to get rid of the former Lyon star.

Tottenham have reportedly decided to let Tanguy Ndombele off the hook after just one season at North London.

Ndombele signed for Spurs during Mauricio Pochettino’s reign for a whopping 54 million pounds, making him the club’s record signing.

However, things went south for the French prospect when Jose Mourinho took over as the Portuguese gaffer ostracized him owing to a lack of form.

The former Real Madrid manager now thinks that Ndombele is not made for wear and tear of the Premier League.

It has been reported earlier that Ndombele had a rift with Mourinho causing him to consider leaving the club.

Barcelona were said to be interested in signing the 23-year-old before the Pandemic break.

Inter Milan have also expressed their interest in signing Ndombele, but Conte has now turned his attention towards Arturo Vidal and N’Golo Kante.

Ndombele made 21 appearances in what looked like an injury-hit debut season in the Premier League, collecting 2 goals and 2 assists. However, he found himself on the bench under Mourinho.

It remains to be seen whether Spurs will let go of their marquee signing this summer amidst the financial crisis.

Spurs are also restricted to spend big in the transfer window, and the wiser decision will be sticking to Ndombele and offer him a second chance.
