The Catalans are moving closer to the signing of Wijnaldum.
Barcelona are apparently moving closer to the signing of Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum.
According to reports, Barca have reached personal terms with the 29-year-old while a deal is yet to be agreed with the Premier League Champions.
Wijnaldum is a personal choice of the new Barca gaffer Ronald Koeman, having worked previously with the Netherlands national team.
The Dutch midfielder is also open to leaving Anfield if the Reds sign their summer target Thiago Alcantara.
Barca are expecting a transfer fee of around 18 million pounds from Liverpool for the signing of Wijnaldum.
Furthermore, Barca are looking to raid Liverpool for the signing of Sadio Mane, who has been considered as one of the replacements for Lionel Messi. The Argentine has been highly speculated to leave his boyhood club this summer.
Mane, 28, will also be intrigued by the prospect of joining the Catalans as he has won major titles – Premier League and UCL – with the Merseyside outfit.
However, the Reds have labelled a fee of 90 million pounds for the Senegalese international, which would be a stumbling block for the Catalans.
Barca have recently confirmed the departure of Ivan Rakitic to Sevilla, and Arturo Vidal has been tipped to be the next, with Inter Milan closing in on his signing.
While signing Wijnaldum is possible at the moment owing to his lower fee, the chances are less for Barca to sign Mane.
