Transfer Update – Serie A - Arthur, Milik, Martinez, Balotelli

Italian giants Juventus are already planning their moves for when the transfer market reopens. As per reports, they are keen on signing the Barcelona midfielder Arthur this summer.

They are prepared to triple the 23-year-old’s current salary in order to tempt him to Turin.

Arthur is a key player at Barcelona and it would surprising to see him leave. It will be interesting to see if the Catalan giants manager to keep him. The Brazilian is a world class talent and he has all the tools to develop into one of the best playmakers in the world.

It is evident why Juventus are keen on him. They are looking to sort out their midfield position for years to come. If they can convince Arthur to join them, Barcelona might come under pressure to consider a sale.

Meanwhile, Juventus are keen on the Napoli forward Arkadiusz Milik as well. The 26-year-old has been linked with a move to the Premier League but it seems that Juventus have stolen a march on their rivals.

Apparently, they have already agreed terms with the player and they just need to finalise an agreement with his club now.

Elsewhere, Inter Milan chief Marrotta has confirmed that the club doesn’t want to sell Lautaro Martinez this summer. The Argentine has been linked with a move to Barcelona.

Marrotta also revealed that if they are forced to sell Lautaro, they will sign a top class player.

He said: “There is no desire to sell Lautaro. He is young and is a functional element for Conte but then of course there is a release clause

“As I said before, if Lautaro goes, a top player will arrive. In the upcoming market, at European level, the real difficulty will not be having to buy, but being able to sell.”

Finally, notorious Italian forward Mario Balotelli has been sent home from Brescia training and his contract is likely to be rescinded.

It will be interesting to see where the former AC Milan and Inter Milan forward ends up now.
