Real Madrid got back into the game through Luka Modric who scored a stunning goal from outside the box.

Five minutes later, substitute Vinicius Junior scored Real Madrid’s second of the night.

The Spanish Giants were expected to score the equalizer and eventually win the game with 30 minutes left but the away side held on for a well deserved win in the end.

Federico Valverde scored a goal in added time but it was ruled out by VAR.

Zinedine Zidane will be thoroughly disappointed with his team’s performance and it will be interesting to see if Real Madrid can bounce back with a positive result in the next game.

Despite having ten players ruled out due to the Coronavirus infection, the away side picked up a superb win against Real Madrid today and they will be full of confidence heading into their next group games.
