Welsh caretaker manager Robert Page has assembled a 26-man squad for the Euro 2020.

Wales will begin their proceedings in European Championship against Switzerland in the Group A clash as they have been drawn alongside Turkey and Italy.

Regarding the final squad, caretaker manager Robert Page has taken a leap of faith in Cardiff City teenager Rubin Colwill’s talent and handed him the maiden call-up.

Colwill broke into Cardiff’s first team earlier this year, but it was enough to convince Page that the teenager is ready for Welsh senior team.

The 19-year-old has been with Bluebirds for over a decade, joining their youth set-up in 2010.

Page gave his verdict on Colwill’s selection: “He’s been a breath of fresh air since he’s come in. “

He really impressed me. He’s got presence; he’s got something we have not got in the middle of the park as well.

“He can play off the right, play as a 10, and he can play in midfield, so that’s a bonus when we were looking to pick a squad.

“He blew us all away with how he was and how he conducted himself. He’s a top professional already and a great lad to have around the place.”

Gareth Bale is the talismanic name once again, and he will be a player to watch out for since he’s coming on the back of a rejuvenating loan spell at Tottenham. The Real-Madrid bound winger found the nets 15 times across all competitions for Spurs. Bale is likely to team up with Tyler Roberts in the attack.

Juventus playmaker Aaron Ramsey has failed to live up to his expectations since his transfer to Serie A, but Wales provide an opportunity to revive his form.

Manchester United’s Daniel James, David Brooks (Bournemouth) and Harry Wilson( Liverpool) will bring more strength to the squad.
