Los Blancos have been reportedly scouting the talented Spanish attacker in Euro 2020.
Real Madrid are interested in RB Leipzig forward Dani Olmo as the report states that the La Liga giants have been scouting him in Euro 2020.
Olmo made the cut for the final squad of the Spanish national team and even featured in their opening game against Sweden.
The 23-year-old spent his youth ranks at Barcelona before moving to Dinamo Zagreb. Bundesliga outfit Leipzig acquired him in 2020 for a reported € 22m on a four-year contract, and he is now being valued more than that.
The report also adds that although the Spanish capital club are scouting him, they might not move for him this summer due to their financial crisis.
Olmo had an excellent 20/21 season for Julian Nageslmann’s side that ended up as the runners up of Bundesliga. He mustered a total of 7 goals and 12 assists across all competitions.
The Spanish attacker’s stock has hiked in a shorter period, and it is only a matter of time before he represents a top club in Europe.
With Olmo’s interest, Madrids’ interest in strengthening their attacking unit has become clear as they have also been linked with a handful of players.
Kylian Mbappe turns out to be a top priority for the La Liga giants, and the French World Cup winner has also been long-mooted for a move to Santiago Bernabeu.
Carlo Ancelotti will take charge from next season, and he would look to delve into the market for a few signings in order to restore Madrid to their former glory.
