Memphis Depay’s arrival could be the end of Francisco Trincao at Barcelona

Borussia Dortmund identify Lyon's Memphis Depay as Jadon Sancho alternative

Barcelona youngster Francisco Trincao is likely to be on his way out of the club this summer.

The Catalan giants have decided to sign Sergio Aguero and Memphis Depay on free transfers this summer, and it is likely to affect the game time of the youngster next season.

Trincao started just three matches in the Spanish La Liga league last season, and it will be interesting to see where he ends up in the summer.

It is fair to assume that Aguero and Depay are likely to start every week alongside Lionel Messi. Furthermore, youngsters like Ansu Fati and Pedri are also likely to be given opportunities ahead of Trincao.

The likes of Antoine Griezmann and Ousmane Dembele could also see their game time reduced next season.

It would be ideal for all parties if the young midfielder left the club permanently this summer. The youngster has many admirers, and several clubs are willing to take the player on loan as well.

The youngster needs to play every week at this stage of his career in order to continue his development. Staying at Barcelona could be detrimental to his improvement as a player.

Trincao was highly rated in Portugal before his move to Barcelona, and he has a massive future ahead of him.

Barcelona might regret letting the player leave permanently this summer, but at this stage, it seems like the right decision.

Barcelona are under financial stress this summer; They will need to raise some funds in order to complete their signings. Cashing in on Trincao could give them the financial boost they need right now.
