Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos has been linked with a move away from the Bernabeu, with his contract expiring this summer.
While PSG turn out to be the frontrunners to sign the Spanish defender, Bayern have now joined the transfer race as they look to strengthen their defence amid the expected departure of David Alaba at the end of this season.
However, it is added that Ramos’ salary could prove to be a stumbling block in his signing.
Barca eyeing free transfer for former player Bernat
Barcelona are eyeing a free transfer for former Bavarians and current PSG left-back Juan Bernat, who is still recovering from a long-term injury.
Bernat represented the Bundesliga champions for around four seasons before moving to the French capital club in 2018.
Barca cite the 27-year-old as a successor to Jordi Alba.

Bavarians manager Hansi Flick has been shockingly linked with an exit with the club.
The current CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is likely to resign after this season, and Oliver Khan, who is expected to assume the role, is reported to not have a healthy relationship with Flick.
However, it remains to be seen if Flick would part company with Bayern after leading them to a continental treble last season.
