Erling Haaland-Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland is currently sidelined with an injury and the player is unhappy with his manager Marco Rose, who forced him to play on against Mainz and Ajax.

The 21-year-old Norwegian striker believes that he wasn’t in a good physical condition to play until the very end in both matches and Rose should have substituted him to protect him from an injury.

Haaland is now expected to miss the remaining fixtures of the Champions League group stages and he said to miss the crunch clash against Bayern Munich as well.

The young striker has been the focal point of Dortmund’s attack ever since he joined the club and it is understandable while the player is suffering from fatigue and the resulting injury.

Dortmund cannot afford to burn him out at this stage of the season and Rose will have to ensure that the striker is eased back into the side.

As for now, Haaland will need time to recover and the injury is reportedly a lot worse than what it initially seemed like.

The Norwegian international is one of the best players in the world right now and his absence will be a massive blow for Dortmund.

The German outfit are currently second in the Bundesliga standings, just one point adrift of Bayern Munich. it will be interesting to see whether they can sustain the title challenge without their star striker in the coming weeks.

Meanwhile, Haaland has scored 13 goals in 10 appearances across all competitions this season and he has four assists to his name as well.
