Dortmund 5-1 Koln_Haaland scored doubles in Dortmund win

The Norwegian is one of the hottest strikers in Europe and has been linked with a plethora of top clubs.

Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland has been on a roll since his time from Salzburg, goals galore from his feet.

Even after moving to Signal Iduna Park, Haaland has kept his scoring rate intact, which has led him to become subject to transfer interest of top clubs like Real Madrid and Manchester United.

However, amid the speculations, Haaland’s father Alf-Inge has stated that his son’s objective was to win trophies with Dortmund.

“At the moment it’s not in Erling’s or my head that another club will be vying for him.

“We signed a long contract with Dortmund and they have a fantastic team for Erling right now. We don’t want to look any further ahead.

“You never know what will happen. We haven’t talked about such a step yet. I think he would like to win some trophies with Dortmund. That is his goal.

“Erling can still achieve a lot in Germany and make great progress. Moving abroad is not a priority for us.

The Norwegian was close to joining Manchester United before he opted to sign for Die Borussen. However, the Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is still favouring Haaland as a top target while Real Madrid could also join the race.

The 20-year-old is currently third in the Bundesliga scoring charts with six goals, five goals shy of the leader Robert Lewandowski.
