FA Cup: Carlos Vinicius scores hat-trick, Devine becomes youngest scorer

Tottenham picked up a comfortable 5-0  win over Marine in the FA Cup earlier tonight.

The non League side were massive underdogs heading into the game and the result tonight is hardly a surprise.

Carlos Vinicius scored a first-half hat trick to give the North London club an impressive win in the third round of the competition.

Tottenham will be hoping to go all the way in the competition this year and it will be interesting to see if Jose Mourinho can guide them to a trophy this season.

The domestic cups are Tottenham’s best chance of winning a trophy this season.

Carlos Vinicius scored the opening goal of the game on the 24th minute and then doubled Tottenham’s advantage six minutes later. The on-loan striker completed his hat trick on the 37th minute.

Meanwhile, Lucas Moura chipped in with a goal on the 32nd minute and youngster Alfie Devine  scored the fifth goal of the game around the hour mark.

The youngster was introduced at half time and he became Tottenham’s youngest ever player at 16 years old to debut in a Cup game.

Jose Mourinho can be impressed with his team’s performance here and it will be interesting to see if Tottenham can build on this and put together a winning run in the Premier League now.

Dele Alli had the chance to impress Jose Mourinho tonight and the midfielder managed to pick up an assist.

Furthermore, Carlos Vinicius has been a backup to Harry Kane all season and the Brazilian managed to stake his claim with a hat trick tonight. It will be interesting to see if the Tottenham manager gives him a chance to prove himself in the Premier League now.
